Late at night
I remain awake
Waiting for him to knock...
Let me be your lover tonight.
Everything will be all right,
But not the meter of this poem....
Just another mediocre poem I made.
This is about life in general. How writing can be an addiction at times. This is about my habits. About moving from downtown in the city to a suburb.
This is written about a former friend and her alcohol addiction
Written about some of the best years of my life growing up living with my grandmother and about her passing...
Drinking, people watching, it's all business
Written about experiences in domestic abuse
Political sattire, wordplay, uprising, we need change
Written about life, childhood vacations in maine, my grandmother
Now that our storm is over,
do you think I’ve no more fear?
My heart trembles still,...
Sometimes it is tempting to just stand aside and see where an event will lead to when it has become incomprehensible. That was how I felt when writing this piece. Do you think it's worth it; i.e to continue?
Be thankful for what you have
Boil the coffee now, my love.
The sun is on the rise.
Wake me gently, softly....
