A bit confusing in the sense why does Jacob suddenly remember that he is lily? Why does he see the blanket after such a long time when I presume the blanket was always there in the basement. The story began well and you built up the readers interest quite well.

Scary and you feel sorry for the child! I wish it was a bit more happier with the child waking up from the nightmare. But this end is too chilling!
