THE GODS will fight tonight:
chapter 1:Olympus divided.
By Wayne l. Chisonga
... And all that could be heard were the screams of the falling titans who were cast down into tartarus the abyss, Zeus stood firmly with two large lightning bolts in both his hands, his eyes full of tears, Facing the middle as his father Cronus stood at a distance on his middle right hand side and Chronos accompanied by his young apprentice Aion stood at a distance to his middle left. Cronus shouted "This foolishness must end now Zeus!...you were born a Titan..." "and I will die an Olympian who rules with untamed power!" said Zeus interrupting his father as he charged fiercely towards him.
As Athena sat in her home within mount Olympus she heard the great battle occurring, it was at that moment when she knew what the battle was about, when she was slumbering many nights ago the presence of her real father Uranus filled her dreams. He showed her two swords clashing above mount olympus and afterwards a mighty godess sat on Zeus's throne as his testicles laid on the filthy ground, with that picture unraveling in her mind she started to worry.
At that same time on the other side of mount Olympus in the courtyards of Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty was awakened by the Battle, she wept and thought Zeus was banishing Cronus once more. But little did she know that this battle was way more serious than she had anticipated....so she continued to weep until she feinted on the stairs outside her sleeping chamber.
"This is madness Zeus, you are only calling on your own death!" Said Chronos the father of time, "what is a god worth if he does not challenge the natural order sometimes" Zeus responded, he jumped towards Chronos as he gathered lightning energy above his head and threw it at him. In his last attack that sent Chronos an acre away, a loud thunder roar was heard as Chronos was struck down, for he could not fight...he was too old for battle. But with him stood his apprentice Aion, the controller of eternity and immortality, and in a calm voice Aion said to Zeus "one who rules alone, why do you seek to vanquish what is to be done", but Zeus's tears were too unbearably painful that his ability to reason had been blocked. "You stand in the presence of the king of all gods and believe you can tell him what to do!" Said Zeus ragingly "there will be non after me and I will rule for eternity!", "but are you the controller of eternity?" Said Aion interrupting Zeus's speech "No you are not, from me your immortality came and by my hand it can vanish" he added on. Zeus did not like the feeling that his life was in the hands of another god, so with all his might, he began to gather all the clouds, lightning and thunder. The sight was so astonishing that some mortal gods who were present were too weak to witness such greatness that they begun to perish one at a time, two at a go until the words "cross not to any part of olympus for your doom lays there!" And with these words been said Aion knew that Olympus was no longer one but had been split into many parts as there are many gods both mortal and immortal, none could step in or out side of kingdoms within olympus. it was more like Zeus had placed an eternal curse on the kingdoms within Olympus, and it was because of that curse that the king of gods's immortality had slightly weakened. Then Aion said to Zeus "you are weak not because of what you do, but what you fear" Zeus's eyes lit with a blue flame, his anger growing at the sight of Aion...."you and your master will bow down and beg for death when I get a hold of your souls!".
Zeus begun to hover in mid air and as he did, everything turned to dark matter, the water, the walls, the air, etc. Aion knew that neither he nor his master or Cronus could win this battle for Zeus was extremely powerful, so he only had one trick left that Chronos told him to use as the ultimate last resort "the sand" from the hour glass of time. For its power was the only thing that could give a chance to the ones opposing the king of gods. as the skies darkened all vegetation was dying one white and silver bolt of lightning was growing from the chest of Zeus, this was the ultimate weapon whose power was almost the same as the the sand. so with quick thinking and rage, Zeus flung the bolt at Aion, but Aion took a deep inhale and everything slowed down, he then grabbed a small pouche and threw it in the darkish air and from it fell golden grains of sand. And with the little time he had left, he spoke to the sand "all that is good is about to end and your keepers will perish with it, give them and all that stand for good one last chance" and the grains started falling down as time had resumed and Zeus's bolt went threw Aion. And as he fell to the ground his last words were "take us back". all the blood and bodies of fallen titans, mortal gods vanished. Everything begun to break starting with the dark matter...then the boundary curse, all that had happened was gone. Zeus, Aion's body, cronus's body and all of the kings advisors who were present were falling through time in space, then a blackout!.
"Aion! Aion!, are you well?" said Chronos the father of time, Aion opened his eyes and saw that he was in the battle meeting a day before the approch to Olympus and said to everyone there "its all wrong, we are too weak for him!" then Cronus father of Zeus argued "IMPOSSIBLE!" then Aion replied " i was there....i saw each and every god and titan in this room die!.......he is going to divide Olympus!"
Zeus gaspped as he woke up! "they are coming for my daugthers......and to end me!".
to be continued...
