Wonder Woman: Warrior Within

Amazon, 8:35 am.

“Diana, if you need my help, I’ll always be there for you.”
“No Clark. I can handle this. This is how I prove my self worth to my people. Layla has been kidnapped and I’m not going to let my enemy escape from this. They trusted me and I’ve trained them to become the best warriors Amazon ever had. I’m not alone and they always have my back.” Diana stepped ahead in front of the platform and started a speech.

“Amazon!” she yelled. The whole Amazonian stopped from their training. She then continued, “As you all know, one of our warriors has been kidnapped last night. Layla, she’s an Amazon and a strong warrior but also a great friend to us. We will unite to take her back from our enemy’s hand. We will not back down, we will not surrender! For Amazon!” she ended her speech and all the female warriors replied in unison.
“For Amazon!”

Diana stepped down the platform to greet some of her people and thanked them for their loyalty to her. In the distance she saw a red hair female warrior in golden armor came to her. From the look of her face, it doesn’t seemed like she has a good story to tell.
“Barda you’re back!”
“I have something important to tell you Diana.”
“Have you got any news of what happened to Layla?”
“That’s the problem. We will need to combine power. A bigger reinforcement.”
“Are you saying . . .”
“It’s Darkseid. He took Layla, hypnotized her. I noticed Layla has been acting kind of strange lately, she complained to me about having nightmares every night. Unfortunately those nightmares had come true. So do you know what’s this mean Diana?”
“I am. This means war. We need Superman and the other Justice League Association members, Darkseid isn’t the kind of enemy we can face alone.” Then Clark cuts in to their conversation.
“If I’m not mistaken you ladies are talking about me behind my back. What’s the gossip about?”
“Clark we need your help to save Layla. It’s Darkseid.”
“No way. That monster is strong. If this really involves Darkseid, we need to act fast now. I’ll go and tell the others, you guys should prepare for the battle now, just in case.”
“Wait! Clark, we need a proper strategy. Who’s your best shot?”
“Batman.”

Underground Batcave, 11:06 am.

“We’ve got company. Looks like we’re not alone.”
“What are you saying master Bruce?” Alfred looked back and saw a man in blue red suit with mantle coming closer.
“Oh, it’s Superman sir!”
“Leave us alone Al, the man of steel seems to have something in mind to tell me.” Alfred left them both alone at an instance, taking along the emptied glass of wine Bruce Wayne handed to him.
“Batman, I’m sorry for coming in like that. I think I broke your titanium door at the main entrance.”
“I saw that.” He pointed on to the screen where it showed recorded video of Superman pushing the door effortlessly.
“Not just that you also broke my alarm system.”
“I’m very sorry. I have to sneak in, you aren’t the type of guy who will allow strangers to get in easily. Not even me I assume. I promise I’ll pay you back.”
“With a reporter salary? Forget it. So what’s the deal?”
“We need your help. One of Diana’s most respected warriors has been abducted. Darkseid.”
“I’ll see what I can do.”
