“Concentrate Grimm! Concentrate!” yelled Odin.
“I’m concentrating!” S*it! I almost lose my cool. I’m not getting anywhere near perfection. I couldn’t control my power and I thought I was good at it. Today’s lesson was to tame creatures that I have summoned under my control. Two three headed wolves. This was what happened when I resurrected my parents earlier. They went wild. There was more to my power but only times would tell me when and how to use it.
“This is pathetic! You called your self a Son of Loki? You need to do better than that! Focus! Clear your mind!” Odin was getting irritated with my lack of self esteem. But this old man really starting to get on my nerve.
“Seriously grandad! I’m trying my best right now! You’re gonna make this worse! Stop yelling! Oh sh*t! They’re coming for me!” The wolves jumped forward and tried to bite me with their razor sharp teeth. But grandad was quickly putting them down to sleep with a spell sounded like “Gaz Zrah”.
“Get up! Get up!” Odin walked toward me and help lift me up by grabbing shirt. Honestly, I didn’t like that.
“You’re such an embarrassment Grimm. Really. Your step sister did even better than you are when I trained her. She was very natural. She knows how to use her power immediately the moment I told her to follow my instruction. The power flows through her like she has been practicing it for years. But you? You can’t even tame a dog! When I trained her I summoned five freaking dragons!”
“You mean wolves.”
“Same thing! But enough is enough. Now let’s continue. This time I want you to concentrate really hard Grimm. I mean it this time and I’m not going to step up to stop the dogs.”
“Wolves.” I replied back.
Odin walked back to his massive throne, majestically decorated with complex pattern in gold. I’m apparently practicing in this chamber where Einhenjar soldiers were practicing which they called War Dimension. This chamber was filled with magic that could change the environment into another world. Earlier when I started practicing my power I was in a forest but this time I’m not sure where would Odin want me to be in. Slowly the atmosphere started to change shape. Different environment, new ambiance and new experience.
“Grandad! Are you f**king serious??? You’re gonna kill me!” Yes, I was losing my mind. Grandad just sent me into frost giants habitat. Jotunheim. Though this was just a magic illusion, it still sent shivers down to my spine. Ice cold, everything I saw in front of me was thick snow, moonlight was the only source of light to avoid total darkness. But somehow I could still see clearly. I couldn’t see Odin anywhere now but I could still hear his voice instructing me what to do.
“Grimm, I just awaken the dogs.”
“Grandad why the heck are they so big???”
“I made them bigger.”
“You’re crazy!!!!”
“Shut up! Now relax. Concentrate on your targets. Gather up your power on both of your hands and pray that you’ll win.”
“That’s it?!! Grandad!!!!”
