A sonnet written for my amazing lady. About collecting stars and placing them inside her to watch them explode back to the skies every night and start over
The title may seem far from the words I used, but I think this is the best way to describe it, just like the movie Upside Down. It is uncertain if I have finished the poem, but, here it goes. Hope you would like it. I would appreciate comments.
Songbird of love,
You are home again. It’s been a
Long wandering in the winter land....
The cry of a heart for something that is never meant to be its.
Two souls have grown so close pretty fast, but remain so far that it hurts deep inside.
The only thing my man was good for was giving me a damaged heart.
I will love you once again
And it will always be the same . . .
Feeling weak but very satisfied,...
Behind every It's OK there is a hidden pain......
