You're Next, Part One Of Two.

2004, Age 5.
Lacillia was simply spending time in her room playing with her stuffed animals; her mom was out of town on a job for work and her dad was busy writing, as he was an author. Having spent no time with her dad within the entire week they’d been alone, she was sick of it. She followed down the steps, heading to his office, trouting down the steps quickly.
A tremble of nervousness shot down her back around a minute before she heard a loud shriek come from all the way downstairs. Her eyes widen as she hurries even quicker down the steps, running into the open door of her dad’s office, seeing a lifeless body with blood oozing from it, a stab wound around the heart. Tears already streaming from her eyes as she sees the sight, she rushes to the kitchen, picking up the phone, dialing 9-1-1 as quickly as she can.
Upon an answer, she’s quick to explain what happened. “I-I’m Lacillia Jones, I’m five and my daddy is laying in the floor bleeding. Please help.” She gives the simple directions to her house as she knows, unknowing of her address and soon the cops arrive.
Her father is placed on the stretcher, being taken out of the house. The cops are searching for clues on what may have happened; it was an obvious murder, but by who, and why? As they come upon the father’s desk, they find a note written in a sloppy font.
“Dear little Lacey, you’re next.”
