"You Left without Saying Goodbye"

YOU LEFT WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE:

I Thought I could live over it with time.
After all, they say, time heals all wound;
Mine has not healed over a very long time.
It is a scar that has left in me an internal wound.

It pained me to think of the event of that day.
We had walked the beach side by side;
Our laughter and songs reverberating that day
Echoing over the waves at the sea side

Eyes were turned to us in longing adoration.
I was lost to the world and never cared;
I only see in you an unparalleled devotion
I do not mind what they see or what they cared.

What a wonderful man you were that day.
Taking me in roving ecstasy in a world of illusion;
Where old fantasy were into reality made
You made a lady of me in blossom beauty.

I don’t know why, neither do I know how;
But you just vanished out of my world.
I opened my doors wide every night
Expecting you will return to our world.

I woke in the mid-night watch feeling
The bed cold where you would have laid;
I have had vision of how you are feeling
But they are mere fantasy the mind has made.

It’s been many years since you left in that cold night
I have searched the world over to know where you are
There is none to tell what happened that cold night
You never said good bye to me, nor tell where you are


I don’t know how I did it without your support.
How do I live all these years without you?
There is a pillar that came to my support
The Lord omnipotent has stand in for you.
