Well, At least they are happy

"Hey.. i just wanna say i'm sorry.." Melanie apologized to Adam. saving every courage for this moment. Melanie regrets what she did to to her ex. and now she realized Adam have always liked her since they've been together. But they both knew. its too late to getback. Now all Melanie wants is Adam's forgiveness. she needs it. She hates having enemies. She knew Adam was heart broken but Melanie dosen't know what else she could do. shes also afraid if Adam tells about this to his friends and spread the rumors. Melanie was naive and dumb.



What she did? Honestly Adam is the first guy she ever dated and she screwed it up. She intended to scrape his money little by little. They broke up few times before and getback together again but this time, not another chance.and Melanie knows that. But lastly, Adam's reply haunted Melanie for two years.

"we're done. i'm exhausted" Adam leaved.

Two years later, Melanie and her bestfriend changed school at the same school as Adam's. so much for moving on..

Melanie never told about her story with Adam to anyone. not even Clara. her bestfriend. they've only been friends for a year but what makes them suited is that they never fought each other not even once. They lead themselves to fair and square.

When Melanie noticed Adam, she avoids him as much as she could hoping not to let him sees her. She feels guilty, embarrased, and felt like a criminal just because of breaking an innocent's heart.

Adam knew Melanie changed school as he is and he also notices Melanie's avoiding him. kindly, he never told his friends what she did to himself. He only tells them they broke up. he may be hurt but hes not a bad guy. He knew melanie actually regrets her mistake but what could he say? hes already exhausted. But pains have to be cured. He only tells to a friend of his. who he trust. and he also he actually had a crush on her. but kept it secret.

"Mel, are you thinking about that ex again?" Clara asked. drinking coke using a straw. they're in a cafeteria. She noticed her partner have been quiet for almost the whole day. Melanie nodded.

"seriously, in all of the secrets, why won't you tell me who the guy was? instead, you only tells stories about you and him. and how guilty you felt. babe, maybe i can help you with your problem, IF you tell me who is he.." clara pats melanie's hand.

"no..look,.. i can't.. i'm sorry.i just wants him to be happy right now. i know he is sad and hurt because of me. even though its been two and a half years already but its possible if he forgot what i did. it wouldn't be that easy.." Melanie expresses what she felt. Clara didn't reply but she feels sorry for her friend. what she did was wrong but she admited her mistake and shes been begging for forgiveness from Adam. But now shes too afraid to meet him again.

After school, Melanie was interested of wanting to know whos her good friend been typing with. she noticed clara kept smiling every time she read her phone screen. She would be very happy for Clara if she founds a..boyfriend. cause the way she smiles on that screen is not a 'friend to friend' way of smiling.

"sooo...whos that perfect boy of yours huh?" melanie pokes her friend's elbow. clara blushed.

"hahaha nah.. hes just a friend. hes very sweet and nice. we've been friends about a year now." clara chuckled.

"wow! a friend huh? A.. "friend"..." Melanie did those sarcastic fingers again. clara laughed.

"shut up, he said he wants to meet me today. you wanna come? its good to multiple some friends" Melanie excepted her friend's request. they meet him at the back school.

When they arrived, clara ran into the guy and gave him a hug. they both looked happy to see each other. how sweet.

Melanie froze herself the second she sees those two happy feets. yea. they looked very happy and sweet and suit for each other. melanie swallows her saliva. She is happy for them..

Clara and Adam are meant to be together..

Adam tries not to stare at Melanie. then Clara introduces him to her friend. Adam waited for melanie's reply. Now he knew who clara's best friend that she has been talking about. He never asked her name cause maybe its not that much of an import.

Melanie decided to act like they never met each other. she knew Adam wouldn't want this to be and awkward day for clara. maybe this is her chance to start over. Adam did the same thing and shakes her hand.

When he touched her hand, melanie said the last 'i love you' in her heart towards Adam. And this time it was sincere.

melanie stared at her both of them. They are meant to be together..
