THE SONG OF THE WEARY SOJOURNER

THE SONG OF THE WEARY SOJOURNER

In the raging sea where the waves roll
And in the sinking depth of the valley
In the sun scourged land down the willow
I heard a voice calling my name
“Don’t be weary, I knew about you
I am calling you just the way you are”

When grief and sorrow made my companion
When all along the thorny part way of life
I had thought I am all alone; that none cares
For there is none I could see beside me
Yet in that dark void of weariness and despair
I heard His voice; loud and strong

“I am calling you, weary sojourner
A pilgrim in search of love and joy
I am the Light that shines your part
Hold my outstretched hand and live
In mercy and grace share my love
I am the Lord; your true comfort”

What a sweet voice; passion and care
It bestowed upon me; uplifting my soul
What joy and love it share on me
Warm and tender was the voice of God
When there was none to share my grief
He alone doth loves me this way

I have found a true Love in Jesus
So passionate and tender he shares
A love so divine in nature’s stead
A love so precious, yet he paid
A precious life laid He down
My weary soul doth He redeemed

“I am calling you weary sojourner
A pilgrim in search of love and joy
I am the Light that shines your part
Hold my outstretched hand and live
In mercy and grace share my love
I am the Lord; your true comfort”
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Too much love of the cat, they say, kills the moth. Most love relationship got broken as a result of wrongly managed petty frail nerves. Like as I love to say, just musing.
