THE MOON WATCHES IN A FATHERLY SOBRIETY
I tripped and slipped along this slippery voyage
But I held on to myself and not letting go
I staggered and stumbled along this rugged way
But I held on to myself and refused to let go
So doth life battered my way on this battered highway
Yet I held on to myself and don’t let go
I cleaved and strives thus far, but farther I still had to go
Yet I held on to myself, and don’t had to let go
When the heat pummeled up my soul savagely
And strings seemed to pull me into an eerie abyss
I dared them all and held on, refusing to let go
I could feel a refreshing break as all my tethers snapped
Then from the shadows of the gathering storms
I heard the lyrics in my soul whispering
And my voice gave rise to this soul reviving
Melody ever composed by a despairing throng
On the awesomeness of the universal elements
In an everlasting display of timelessness
¶“When the sun is shining; bright and fair upon time
And the clouds sail across the silvery sky
Chasing after an invisible foe in a mockery duel
While the stars are sparkling in a sightless night
And the moon watches in a fatherly sobriety
Then I knew that life is just one big game playedӦ
What a lively tune that graced my soul
Uplifting my soul from a whirling drift
All things I’ve ever craved for were transient
They wear off on the scale of time and space
I’d reach into my soul once more for the rendition
Of that melody ever so composed by a despairing throng
¶“When the sun is shining; bright and fair upon time
And the clouds sail across the silvery sky
Chasing after an invisible foe in a mockery duel
While the stars are sparkling in a sightless night
And the moon watches in a fatherly sobriety
Then I knew that life is just one big game playedӦ

February 18, 2016 - 16:48 Your Highness! your writings remind me of your secondary school days when you devoured those novels and literature books.for hours. Talent cannot be buried though you tie a milestone to it and dump it in the sea it will become buoyant like truth that is inexorable. Keep it up we are enjoying the writings. Remain blessed.
