The Materialistic Man!

Dan was crazy for money. He lost his daughter though because of his dreams that remained unfulfilled. The uncontrollable urge to earn money led him and his family towards digging graves for themselves.
Few years early, Dan was quite sober and a family guy. Everybody loved him and why not! He was caring, empathetic and generous. He helped everybody in his family, from his uncle to cousins! But now, nobody wants to see his face.
His wife went into depression. She doesn't eat or sleep. She just swings by her favorite chair which reminds of her daughter. How her daughter used to swing by and fill the whole house with laughter.
"What happened? What happened next? Is he gonna live or die?" asked Robert from the guy who he met on a way to Lapa Lake and also who was narrating this story. The guy closed his eyes for a few seconds and with a sniff, opened his eyes. He turned around while Robert was in deep confusion.
The guy turned to him with a knife in his hand and stabbed Robert innumerable times and ran away with all the money he kept. From that day, Robert was found nowhere.
Also, the guy was Dan "The Materialistic Man".
