Run Down Jack
A narrative poem
Run Down Jack

They ran after Jack
Across rivers and valley
Intent on catching him
Annihilating him .
Delete him from the roll of the living
They carried guns with silver bullets
To make sure he is not reborn
To make an example of him
A companion of worms they swore
Jack would become henceforth
They never caught him
He was too swift too smart
But run him out of town they did
And it did server as deterrent
To future would be criminals
To budding delinquents
