Out on a Summer Break

Out on a Summer Break

Cascading thoughts fleeting through my consciousness
Jumbling dunking feelings of uncoordinated thoughts;
While I tried grappling at the coordinates,
Of these juggling fleeting thoughts,
The white sheet lay dazzling my sight
Beckoning on the dripping ink
In a pen held firmly in my hand
Yet, I am unable to lay them out.
Days have turned to weeks
Weeks to months; and the year
Rushing into the parapet of another turn
Yet, my thoughts were neither heard nor seen
In the platform of creative forum
The fact jugged me out of my reverie
Then the pen dipped down on the white sheet
Scribbling out accumulation of events and causes
The opium of the writer is his thought
He revels in its toxicity to be active
His daily doses are the expressions
He shares with a world held captive
By a vengeful evil apparition
Breathing out evil and violence viciously
This, the writer sees and expresses voicelessly
I am out on a summer break; my thoughts to share.
