If the Lamb had not died?

IF THE LAMB HAD NOT DIED

The moon cast its pale light upon the landscape
Throwing an ominous glow upon mount Olivet
The vegetation on the meadows lays sprawled out
And the grasses and flowers on the field thus mourn
The solemn glowing night sings a dirge unto him
Whom no sin was found yet he bore my guilt away
For mankind to salvage unto the father; hence, He came

On that solemn night upon Mount Olivet, He came
With the beloved of the earthly friends for to worship
Not upon the grasses to grace doth He came that night
Nor for a nightly picnic to make on the mount, he came
He came; a lamb for sacrifice: his life, a ransom to give
With His soul weary; for none there was to bear the cup
For unto Him it was given; unto Him, it was laid to bear

Forlorn and dejected; for even his friends had failed Him
He reached unto the Father with an anguished heart
Groaning in pain paid for with sweat as in blood
Yet in total sublime submission unto the father he cried
“Not my will but let your will be” thus was my soul redeemed
Crowning me a royalty in Heavenly places
So I know some day; I will be with the Father

I will sit with my father in His celestial Palace
In the city where the walls are built of Jasper
And the foundation laid with Sapphire and overlaid
In Chalcedony; and the tree of life simmering within
The fountain of Life: if he had not died that day
If He had not translated into immortality that day
If the Lamb had not died: I would have missed it all
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?

Too much love of the cat, they say, kills the moth. Most love relationship got broken as a result of wrongly managed petty frail nerves. Like as I love to say, just musing.
