I Weep For Joy

I Weep for Joy

Like the floating of a feather in a windy shore

with the gulls fluttering over the tossing waves mockingly,

my feet flew over the pebbles as I skipped across the field

to the wide open arm and a loving embrace of him that

has  come to searched me out of my drift

The years wasted in torment have all gone;

Fading away with the memory of faded love gone skewed

He’d pushed my yesterday away with a new tomorrow,

filled in hopeful restoration

He looked into my tearful face with a smile

and this is what he said, “Here now is a weeping

for Joy”
