HE’S GOT ALL OF MY LOVE

With a strong arm He wrenched me free.
Free from a world where vices are taken as pleasure.
It is just the way of the world,
It clutches firm and refused to let go.
But his words are soothing balms.

They sipped through my perception
To a weary soul, it soothes and revived,
To his own world of love and peace,
A new life they gave to conform to His world
There I now live in bliss and comfort.

I have given him my Love in exchange
For a purer love he offered.
There is no other love to share
In the world where we live;
Except, to those in the same bond of love.

He has a name so sweet and tender.
A name so tender yet firm to embrace
They quake in his presence when he is called.
They who sort your peace shattered.
They crumble when He is by your side.

He made promises that never fail.
He promised to be with me, it never failed.
He assured me His mercies, it never failed.
He is the lamb crucified, for sinful souls to redeem.
He says he will come, which will never fail.

I have given him my love; all to Him.
For He loves me as no one else could,
He spares not even His life for me to redeem.
Oh! What a wonderful life he gives
To a recalcitrant world that knew Him not.
