Heaven? or family?

Charlie wakes up from her sleep. Somehow her last night sleep was calmer than usual. Too calm perhaps..

She runs downstairs to see her mother who usually should be making breakfast now. "Hey mom.." her mother didn't seemed to heard her from behind so she gave a few steps closer. "morning, mom.." But she still didn't turn around to see her. Charlie tilts her head with confuse. Maybe shes just pranking her.

Charlie tries hugging her as a surprise for her mum, but turns out its a surprise for her because her hands just went through her!

Charlie took a step back. Shes now feeling scared and her face turns pale. For a sudden, she felt something is crowding her back. something big..

She turns her head to the right to see what is going on back there. yup. its something big alright! She has a huge pair of feathery wings! Now she really became to panic.

"Hello Charlie" a husky voice struck her ears. it was a strange man wearing a black suit and a trenchcoat. His appearance reminds her of a character from a show called 'Supernatural'.. Charlie asked whats going on and the man starts babbling about something. Charlie could not focus him clearly because of busy controlling herself to calm down. But she heard a few of important things.

'He said his name was Adam, he came here to fetch me? i am lucky? a strong heart? deserves heaven? taking me..-?'

"Whoa! whoa whoa! stop! where were you taking me again?" Charlie interrupted.

"Straight to heaven.. after all the hard times you've been through in your life, you deserved to be happy."

"But..I am happy. well, starting to before you came in and practically trying to kidnap me.."

"I'm not kidnapping. Its the order from above. you should come now" he said. handing out his palm.

"No..I am happy. I wanted to be with my family from now on and you can't force me. can you?"

"Are you sure? in heaven, you can have anything you wanted-"

"would my family be there?"

"no..but-"

"Then, no! look, you said I deserved to be happy, then okay. thank you. Cause i am happy now. no one can bother me to be with my family anymore. And if you do bring me upstairs without my permit then you are the one who took away my happiness. You here me? heaven or not, my family is the only one i needed right now." Charlie explained how she doesn't want anything more than her family.

'But heaven ordered me to-"

"hey, Adam, please ,hear me out. look, i'm not trying to tell you to disobey heaven, or whoever is ordering you up there, but listen to your heart. listen to justice. I needed my family's love and you are taking it away from me. Taking me away from them. Basically, I suppose you knew what Ive been through in the pass and you also knew it was bad. And now,its all gone and is it wrong for me to have what I have been wanted? what I really deserve? c'mon..you're an angel. you should be smarter than this."

The angel turn down his face with sudden guilt. he couldn't believe how he could be so dumb.. it took a while. for him to think before raising his head back to Charlie.

"very well. I should be going now." "oh, and keep the wings. a gift from heaven. its okay. no one can see it with the naked eye"

Adam then disappear and at the same time Charlie wakes up twice from her bed. She runs down to hug her mum and this time her skin is touchable again.
