Unique: Being the only one of it's kind, unlike anything else. They may originate from the same fertilized egg. Share the exact same genetic blueprint, and to a standard DNA test, they may be exactly alike. But a forensic expert can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt, although you cannot tell them apart: identical twins don't have matching fingerprints.
Have you ever wondered why God would create two human beings so identical, down to their DNA, but distinguish them at their fingerprints. Because it's what you do, touch with your hands/fingers that matters i.e. actions speaks louder than words. You make a difference by taking action, sometimes you need to take massive action to effect massive change. With your unique God given abilities and capabilities, that you have honed through experience (trial and error) you are able to touch someone's life in an unique way. People like Mahatma Gandhi effected major change in the lives of millions when he took massive action in employing civil disobedience to lead India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world? Did he try to be like everyone else or did he use his "uniqueness" to effect this change?
Daily you have an opportunity to change your life and to use your God given "uniqueness" to make a difference in the lives of those that you come into contact with. Your past experiences (successes and failures) shapes the person that you become. This does not mean that you cannot choose to change direction at any point, because only you can decide who and what you want to become.
Every day in every way we are changing, adapting and becoming. Our experiences and the people around us are constantly influencing and trying to change us and they will if we passively allow them too. But you need to constantly remind yourself that only you have the authority to change your behavior, character and life. It is like logging on to a computer and you are the only one with the password. So start today and password protect the most vulnerable part of your "uniqueness", your mind. Yes, your mind is the central processing unit of your "uniqueness", it is through your thoughts that your behaviors, attitudes and actions are developed.
Have you ever wondered where your interests in certain things come from? Because of your "uniqueness", you may be interested in things that your family, friends and acquaintances are completely not interested in. You may display certain predispositions like introversion and wonder why you are so reserved and always thinking things through instead of just jumping and taking quick action.
These types of traits are not part of your "uniqueness" by accident, but because your creator created you to be a part of and fulfill His master plan. Yes, i am sure you always knew or felt deep inside of you that there must be a purpose for your life. You may even find yourself asking the question, why am i here? Some people give up looking for answers and end up just going though the motions like waterless clouds carried along by winds. But others keep searching like for priceless treasures and they find their "calling", their destinies in their "uniqueness".
