London. The largest British city that had always been the Davie`s families top favourite place to visit. Especially for Chloe Davies, who was the eldest child in the Davies family. So after Chloe Davies, an art Lakeside college student, finished her second year of studying the art course, she decided to travel to London. She had planned to take a day trip to London the following Saturday afternoon. Going alone this time though, unlike last time. Seeing as she definitely wanted to go to visit the greatest art exhibitions located in London. Chloe Davies was such an art lover. Her own bedroom at her home, including, was practically like an art exhibition room literally. There was just many art paintings hung up onto her pale cream coloured bedroom walls. Both of her parents and her younger sister called June, would always laugh and teasingly call Chloe a Piccaso artist. Really wishful thinking Chloe thought to herself, not to sound pessimistic. To be honest she thought that she was good in art, but far from being like a famous artist though.
It was currently the first week of the Olympic games, being in the beginning of July. This year though, she definitely planned to spend the coming Saturday afternoon strolling around the city of London. She loved the idea of visiting London alone. To spend some of her time away from her family, guiltily she thought, and to chill out a little. Although Chloe was a great fan of watching the Olympics, she would rather spend that sunny Saturday afternoon not cooped up in her living room watching television with her own family. Only a tiny bit of herself was possibly feeling tempted to stay indoors.
Before she knew it, the following Saturday afternoon soon came up. It was thankfully a nice sunny day outside, the most ideal day for tourists. She would be leaving her own house just after eating her lunch, she was looking really forward to visiting London. Her own father Jack had already offered to give her a lift to the nearby Mayton railway station, located just five minutes walking distance away from the local Mayton town centre. So at around twelve thirty in the afternoon Chloe waved goodbye to both her mother and younger sister, as she and her father slowly reversed his blue Toyota car up the front houses driveway. Chloe just about managed to get the right train at the railway station luckily, being that the traffic on the main road heading towards the town centre, was rather packed. When her father dropped her off at the railway station`s car park, she thanked him and he promised he would give her a lift back later on that same evening.
During the train journey to London, Chloe passed away her time glimpsing at some of the glamour magazines from the table. And also occasionally looked out of the window and looked out at the lovely countryside views. At this time of the year, in the beginning of July, some of the fields had lovely red poppy and yellow flowers. Sight seeing was something that Chloe loved doing often. The entire train journey to London took about one and a half hours in total.
Chloe was so glad to get off the train, she had to admit. All of a sudden as she strolled towards the London city centre, all of Londons surroundings came to her. The Thames bridge, the London eye, the large crowds of people. All so familiar for her. She cautiously followed all the street signs and headed towards one of the art galleries. The art gallery she ended up visiting turned out to be absolutely fantastic, especially for people who love art. And the still life paintings there were going to be a great help for her future art career. Who knew what the future would bring for her.
