Celebrating New Years Eve

Before you know it the whole year has flown by. It is the complete end of one year and almost the beginning of the next year. An entire year which you know that you will never live through again. The event of New Years eve is mostly so exciting for most. Whereas other people can feel doubtful about the coming New Year at the same time possibly. Really hoping that the new year will be more different or better than the previous year. Every year on New Years Eve, on the thirty first of December; lots of people set off such spectacular looking bright coloured fireworks usually around midnight. They set off really fantastic fireworks around the Lipton village area, including the Katherine wheels fireworks, which was what Lucy Simpson every year thought.

All of the Simpson family members absolutely enjoyed the annual event of New Years Eve. They always managed to stay up really late on the New Years Eve night. And thrillingly watch the New Years celebrations which was located live in Westminster in London. Lucy Simpson, the only daughter of the Simpsons family, was going to stay over at her friends Jill`s house later on this evening. Where her parents set off such fantastic fireworks off in their back garden. Lucy`s dad Geoffrey, had promised to give her a lift in his black Volvo car to Jill`s house; which was just twenty minutes driving distance away. So at around seven o clock after the Simpsons family ate their lunch; off Lucy and her dad drove over to Jill`s house. And when Lucy got out of the Volvo car, she waved goodbye to her dad. And she knocked their front door of the house and Jill answered the door. Off Lucy and Jill wandered into the front living room on the left side downstairs of the house. And watched a drama and adventure film that Lucy loved for the first few hours. Which they both really got into watching. A film set in Chicago.

At around ten o clock Jill, Lucy Simpson, her eldest sister Sara and both of her parents went out into their back garden to light and set off the fireworks. What a fantastic looking firework display there was. It felt such a shame when the fireworks finished. But it was promised next New Years Eve evening that we would do the same thing as tonight. Later on when Lucy Simpson had been driven back home by her father she stayed up until around one thirty in the morning watching the spectacular firework display in the centre of Westminster. Whilst watching the television Lucy Simpson got started on deciding what New Year Resolutions she was going to set herself to follow for this year.
