The Kingdom Above

My heart yearns for the kingdom above,
Whatever I do is just never enough,

I Reached for the sky but could never get a grip,
Off this roof I wish I would slip,

But Alas! Suicide is a sin,
Day by day the darkness thickens from within,

Everyone wants to go to heaven,
But No one wants to die,

Just One glass of poison,
and I could end it tonight,

Is this a blessing or a curse?
Is this someway to prove my worth?

Could this be one of His divine tests?
Oh God, please put my tainted soul to rest.
