Repentance

I feel the darkness pricking at my skin,
piercing through me like a poisoned dagger,
Leaving my skin numb and pale,
Slowly putting me to eternal sleep,

I have but only one question for the ONE above,
Will I wake up to the sweet scent of heaven?
Or will I open my eyes in the fiery depths of hell?
Oh Eternal one will you not ease my pain?

Will you not put my twisted soul to rest?
How long am I to fight the unbeatable?
how long am I to prolong the inevitable?
Or Am I not worth salvation?
