THE DAY I FOUND JESUS

I never thought
Never imagined
No thought ever crossed my mind
That one day
Will be one day

The day I was bitter
As bitter as gall
Disappointments after disappointments
Depression knocked my door
And loneliness embraced me

I remember that day very well
The day that turned from bitterness
To a day full of peace and hope
The day I found a word
A word full of life
A word from my Jesus

I never thought I will be free
Free from the bondage of the devil
Free from the world and its pleasures
Now I know that my redeemer lives
And I have found Him
