Once, there was a beautiful butterfly with intricate wing design. The butterfly was considered as the ruler of the sky and the goddess of land.
She was so fragile and delicate that all animals in the sky and land loved her and all the other girl butterflies had envied her entity.
It was a calm afternoon when she surveyed all the Earth's properties--the flowers, the trees, the plants, the pond and all her animal friends. However, when it's time for her to return to her home, a heavy rain start to fall. Her delicate wings flapped against the gathering wind. They had been wet by the falling rain.
Flap flap flap.
The butterfly still went on.
Flap flap flap.
Flap flap flap.
When the butterfly could no longer take the heavy rain, its delicate wings surrendered and slowly, the butterfly fell to the ground. When the butterfly woke up the following day, she found out that her wings had been broken and she could no longer fly.
So instead, she decided to walk and ask whatever she wanted to know.
She came upon a bird that is carrying worm. She asked.
"What is my name? What am I doing here?"
"Do you really want to know? Marry me first." The bird replied. But the butterfly doesn't want to marry a bird, afraid that it might eat her just like how it eats worms. So she decided to leave.
When she stumbled upon a cow that is eating grass, she asked the same question.
"What is my name? What am I doing here?" The cow looked at her with an enormous smile.
"Do you really want to know? Marry me first." It said. But for the butterfly, she doesn't want to marry a cow, it's too big for a butterfly like her.
So again, she left.
She saw a dog that is running toward her. When the dog stopped, she asked.
"What is my name? What am I doing here?" And the dog, slowly walk near her and answered.
"Do you really want to know? Marry me first." And for the record, the butterfly doesn't want to marry a dog, not in her entire life so, she went on.
When she could no longer see an animal in sight, she decided to wait. The next day, she still couldn't find someone who could help her. Then the next day, and the next day passed. After a month, the butterfly died without finding out who she was and what she had been doing.
If you were the butterfly, do you want to know your name and what you've been doing?
"Marry me first."
