Love on Screen

by bestdianneever
I refuse to let it show,
I refuse to believe,
It just seem impossible,
That I'll find love through that laptop screen.

I tried to shake it off,
I tried to ignore it all,
It just don't fit with the possibilities,
Love can't just grow through that screen.

So many nights I keep thinkin'
So many days I keep wonderin'
But I always end up pleadin'
For Cupid to erase what I'm feelin'.

I can't undo the past,
I can't forward the future,
I can only see my present state,
Desperately hiding from fate.

As much as I hated to admit,
As much as I hated to erase,
As much as I hated to say this,
I fell in love through that laptop screen.

What kind of idiot am I?
I fell helplessly inlove at the wrong time,
At the wrong place,
And at the wrong person.

She's at the other side of the globe,
I'm at the opposite side,
She's just a million miles away,
And yet it doesn't stop me from hoping.

I could only watch myself,
Laughing at a beautiful mistake,
And slowly the smile fades,
Only to start crying for that magical love on screen.
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
