Star Gazing

by LUIS KAY

I spied a star

Twas as if

To me she called out

My senses enthralled

My eyes mesmerized

Me so drowning

In her sweet essence

A moth to a flame

Common senses neglected

Cares tossed to the wind

I spied a star and i gave chase

Her scent me captivating

Racing imaginations

Losing me in that moment
