Seen

On the right corner of my home page
Is your name beside a dot of green
I don’t know if it’s the name or the circle
That makes the heart flutter in.

I clicked on your name without any thoughts
Stared on that blank page
That annoying blinking cursor
Shouting, "Come on! Type something! Anything!

I took all courage to say “Hi.”
And took a deep breath then a sigh
I waited for a reply
Whatever may it be, even an aye.

“Seen” is what it said
And three excited dots appeared
Carrying the words “Typing...”
Golly throbbing heart thumping!

But then the three dots disappeared
And what’s left is just “Seen”.
Where are the three dots that says "Typing"?
For their return, I’ll still be waiting.
