Pure delight of visiting Paris. Those exact five words were currently lingering around in Jenny Colgans mind.
If there was just one place abroad that Jenny Colgan, a great travel enthusiast, most liked to visit it was the splendid city of Paris. Just thinking about Paris always brought back floods of childhood memories immediately for Jenny Colgan. She could still clearly remember the very first time that she went on an one week holiday break to Paris. With both of her parents and her older brother called Callum. At the time she was only five years old. During one hot sunny afternoon she can remember when she and her family were spending the entire afternoon on the beach. Whilst her parents were both sunbathing in the parasol shade, out of harms way of the simmering heat, both Jenny and her brother Callum decided to build their very own large sand castle. Hoping that the sand castle would last for as long as possible, at least until the tidal waves came back in.
She absolutely loved Paris, no doubt about it. If anyone was going to ask her what her most favourite holiday destination was she would always say Paris. Without having a moment of hesitation. She loved everything about Paris. The French culture, the foreign language, the cuisine and most importantly the tourist attractions over there. To her no other country abroad could ever compare to the great city of Paris. Not even the cities of Los Angeles or Venice. Not now and certainly most likely never. Going back a few months ago Jenny Colgan decided to book a one week holiday to visit Paris. Which she was really looking forward to going to for what seemed like a long time away for her. But as Jenny Colgan knew time would fly by quickly.
Before she knew it was only a week until she was going on a one week holiday break to Paris. That same week she was so busy preparing herself and packing her suitcase with some of her belongings. She was feeling so glad when all of the packing was all over and done with until she left her house the following Friday morning. The next Friday morning she woke up pretty earlier than usual. That way she had more than enough time to get herself ready for flying to Paris that afternoon. Thankfully she arrived at the Gatwick airport in London right on time on that day. And spent most of the entire airplane flight reading some of her adventure novel and just briefly looking outside of her airplane window. She loved going on the airplane looking down at the fluffy white clouds and tiny toy town way down below her.
Jenny felt so excited and relieved inside that very moment when the airplane landed at the French airport. She had booked a fancy five star hotel to stay in for that entire week. For once she felt glad for staying away from her family at home. Guiltily she thought at times. She spent the entire week staying in Paris visiting the local beach, eating out at restaurants occasionally, chilling out and having fun. Which she greatly deserved. And best of all she visited the fantastic art galleries located in the Paris town centre. What a fantastic art gallery she went to. Don't get her wrong she always loved visiting art galleries all of her life, but this art exhibition she visited was so great. And she also often took quite a lot of photos using her silver digital camera.
The trip to Paris turned out to be such a fantastic holiday break especially seeing as the weather when staying over there was so brilliant. When she flew back from Paris a week later all of her friends and her family were so keen to know how her trip went to Paris.
