POETRY- TIME

by lizjay
Tick tock tick tock
There runs the minute hand
No pity that I am still fixing myself
What have you been doing all along?
It barks at me.

Hours quickly passes by
Day, night, month, year
My mission still unaccomplished
What an enemy you are to me
Pressure after pressure
You pressurize me.

Quickly you run and overtake me
I try to hide even high on the mountains
But you squeeze yourself
There you are tick-tocking
Like a tick trying to stick on me

How long will I bare with you
You are undefeated
Time after time
You are timing me.
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
