*Raindrops*
Like silver tears they fall,
On trees, on leaves, and all,
They shatter, and turn as they went down,
Even splash, and twinkle when they're blown.
Like butterfly without wings they stumble,
On rocks, on branches to pieces they crumble,
They kiss, and hug as they reach the ground,
Even split, and break when they're bound.
*Teardrops*
From her sad, blue eyes they flow,
As far as where the river could go,
From his green, ecstatic eyes they fell,
As far as where the poet could tell.
Teardrops are her words,
Teardrops are his swords,
So tender, so lovely they sound,
So sharp, so deadly when they're found.
*A penny for your thoughts?*
I walked around the park,
When a dog suddenly bark,
It was late at night for a girl like me,
To walk around, go and see.
I saw him there, waiting,
On the swing he was sitting,
I heaved a sigh as I approach him,
I pat his back as he slowly turn from the dim.
The moonlight, the stars are shining,
He recognize me and he began smiling,
"A penny for your thoughts?," I ask,
He just touched my hand in the dusk.
I want to hug him, to say sorry
But when I opened my eyes, everything went gloomy,
He's not there, not here, not anywhere,
He's just out of nowhere.
I miss you, please come back,
I say as the air kisses me in the dark,
I can feel him near me,
I can hear him whisper softly.
"Jenna, why are you out here?"
My friend's voice was all I could hear,
"Nicole, I saw him. He's sitting at the swing," I say,
But she just forced me to go away.
"He's dead, Jenna, for two years," she cried,
"He's alive, Nicole. He's alive," I lied,
Because it hurts so much to lose Tim,
And I don't know how to live without him.
