I bet you have a great idea what constitutes an eery Halloween sleepover, especially if you have ever been to one yourself.
There is always one great memory that lingers crazily in my mind. Still up to this day. You know the memories you have in your past that just stick in your own mind. Which you can never forget no matter what. Not that it is a bad thing, depending on the type of memory, good or bad.
Kelly was sitting down in the front room on the evening of Halloween day. She was currently home alone. Her much older sister Harriet was out staying over at a friends house until later tonight. And both of her parents were staying over at one of her aunties house. So it was just Kelly. She didn't mind that much on being home alone. She could always entertain herself easily either watching her favourite preferably horror DVD or get started at some of her school`s homework. She decided on the second option and got started with her biology science homework. Biology science was one of her top favourite subjects at school. She just found Biology science so fascinating for her. She really wanted to become a biology scientist. It would be one of her top dreams come true.
After about twenty five minutes or so, at around five thirty in the afternoon Kelly made herself some lunch of pasta with ready made tomato and basil sauce. Which she ate quickly having been so starving hungry for most of the afternoon of today. Both of her friends Susan and Jill Mansell, were going to be coming soon to stay over for an arranged Halloween sleepover. After having great approval from both her parents last week after Kelly asked about it. So she went upstairs to her bedroom and got some groovy looking clothes and jewellery. She wore a fashionable gold necklace with a witch pendant on. To suit the Halloween occasion. Which it did perfectly. And put on some dark make up to add the Halloween looking effect to her face.
She briefly checked her own image in the long length bedroom mirror hung just by her own wardrobe. She looked absolutely fabulous she thought. Not in a vain way though. She was not a vain individual. Just had excellent clothing taste, as she been often told by her friends and class peers.
Just as Kelly was walking down the stairs cautiously, she heard the house door bell ring out three times. She opened the door to both of her friends, who had both been given a lift in Jill`s mum`s black fiat car. Not liking the idea of her own daughter and one of her friends walking alone in the dark quite a long distance from her home. She was absolutely delighted seeing both of her friends, who she had not seen for a while. As they both had other plans for the last week. First Kelly offered both of her friends Jill and Susan; some of her left over tomato and basil sauce pasta. Which they ate with huge appetite. Thankful for Kelly preparing them something to eat.
Afterwards they sat down on the sofa in the living room and chatted for a while about their families and how they were getting on with their science homework. Topics like that. Jill Mansell, suggested that we went to the local blockbusters store in Lipton and borrowed a horror film for tonight to watch for entertainment. So off we went later on to blockbusters and got calling on Bloody Mary film. Which they enjoyed and made them get lots of horror goose bumps on their skin. With great fright at times.
They all stayed up until around one o clock in the morning chatting to each other endlessly about what they thought of the film and how much they would love to buy their own Bloody Mary film soon. The next morning my mum and dad thanked them for staying over at my house and keeping me great company whilst they were out last evening.
I knew that very Halloween memory would always stay in my mind. For the better or for the worst. Time would tell.
