Missing in the Christmas Holidays

Oh the great joy of the Christmas Holidays Mollie thought happily to herself. The concept of no school to her was more than thrilling to her.Whilst sitting upstairs on her office desk chair in her bedroom. She was typing up her first text message to one of her best friends called Gail Webb's. On her first ever silver Nokia mobile phone.

It was currently the Christmas holidays. Just a few days after Christmas Day. Today was Millie's birthday. Her fourteenth birthday. For her fourteenth birthday today Mollie, the only daughter of the McCann's family received a silver Nokia mobile phone for her birthday this year from her parents. Her very own mobile phone was something that she really wanted for a long time. Now almost everybody in her year group at her school owned a mobile phone. And her father gave her some spending birthday money for when she later went shopping herself in the local Hadbury town centre. She usually at most weekends met up with her friends at the shopping mall. They would have such a great time together. But today despite being her birthday, both of her friends were too busy with their families.

Mollie went downstairs to tell both of her parents just before eating her lunch with her family in their fine looking dining room that she was definitely planning to go out shopping this afternoon. So at around one o clock; after she had her lunch her dad offered to give her a lift in his Peugeot silver car. Seeing as the weather today outside was not especially great, being still raining lightly outside. Mollie was planning to spend most of her birthday money on some new clothes and makeup for herself. She usually bought herself clothes at shops like Next. One of her favourite shops it had to be said in the shopping mall. As soon as Molly got outside and waved goodbye to her dad just before he drove off back home, the rain slowly stopped. So Molly first went into the Next clothing store and ended up buying a new gold pendant necklace and a couple of new red and purple sparkly jumpers.

Everything for Mollie`s parents was going completely fine up until it was tea time in their household. Then all of a sudden quite soon after Molly and her parents had an argument. One of the worst arguments they had in a long time. Molly wanted to go over to her friends Gail`s house after having replied on her mobile phone to her five minutes ago. But her parents would not let her go out today. No matter how many times she asked. So she quickly ran off out of the door planning to run off to Gail`s house to see her. She ended up going missing for a long time. After a few hours or so her parents went out to search for her. It was now dark outside and they knew she couldn't have gone that far from home. So they drove off in their car and went to search around the town centre first. One of Molly's favourite regular places she went to. They ended up catching her outside just on the outskirts of the town centre walking along. They were so glad to find her after worrying like crazy.
