Lost Friend.....

I always wanted more from you,than what you are ready to give;

We slowly decided to part our ways, each with a different life to live.



You were always so perfect to me,

I trusted your eyes without a second thought about me;

You promised for an honest friendship, but you pushed me away,

I have no choice left, accepted you dishonesty and away I stay.



The bond we shared, the friendship I always wanted to be intact;

But not everything can be achieved, childhood innocence can't turn back.



I will always be your friend, will enquire how you are;

Though the good times we shared, and the broken promises are my painless scars.
