Being single can sometimes be a bliss.... when we are complete within us, we need no one else. Thats journey of life.....
Staying alone...
by rekhanshiraghavaSitting in a garden full of ripe mangoes,
Eating them slowly.
To stay alone is;
Sleep till the noon,
Slowly welcomed by the moon,
Open the window and look at his company.
To stay alone is;
Letting the dishes pile up in the sink,
And without being bothered,
Stand on the window, elbow on the wall, in crazy wind.
To stay alone is;
Mind untouched or crammed,
To flow like a water, meet the obstacles natural way,
To carry them, through your heart for mutual conclusion.
To stay alone is;
Assume days to flow Like rhythm of water,
Like river that meets other river,
Or belongs to a water fall,
Or Simply carries on in its particular way,
For journey called life-

For a change it is good to stay alone .but the romance and the newness wears away when you realize that you have no hands waiting to hold you or no lips waiting to speak to you..when you look out in to the world ..all that you see would be togetherness..leaves clustered to jiggle ..birds pecking.. domestic animals fighting or running around ..wherever you look you see doubles..and you are alone..sob sob .. Your poem is good but the idea is a bit heavy for me to contain..rekhanshiraghava
