Is This Love?

Meet Jack. A troubled young teen with rather negative experiences with one of the very things that defines our teenage years. Relationships. He always found it very strange how other people could get into one so easily and stay in it for such a long period of time. To him, that was like the Impossible. And for very good reasons too. He never understood the true meaning of love or even just a simple relationship. And that was mainly because he, despite being in a few, couldn't handle them and keep them together due to the indifference of his partners. Jack was the kind of person who would blindly trust anybody. This was a major flaw. Because he could always see the good in people he never once considered any negative things. But as most of you who have had their fair share of bad relationships would know very well that, that was not going to help him in any way. Most of his relationships started off in the same way. He finds this girl, who seems to like him and likes spending time with him and makes him feel good and comfortable. Due to this he believes that she is the person who he thinks she is. But unfortunately for him, that was never the case. Now, they start talking more often. Almost everyday and sometimes even all day. He gets attached to her without even once thinking about whether or not it is the right thing. He tells her how he feels. She responds with the same feelings. He thinks he's fallen in love. They talk for a month or so but after a while the girls ignores him, start making excuses instead of talking to him. And then one day, to his surprise either dissapears of the face of the planet or just tells him he's not the person she thought he was or that she doesn't have feelings for him anymore. This leaves our pal dissappointed. But the stubborn, meat head that he is, he still pursues this meaningless task. And every time, meets with the same conclusion. This causes alot of stress on him and he decides that no girl is ever worth his time. And never will be. And here is when the fun begins...
One day he goes to class and it seems like an average day. Everything seem normal. Same old boring teacher, same old boring lectures and same old stupid classmates. But what he is not aware of, is that today he has a new class mate. It's English class and he's bored out of his mind because the teacher is giving a lecture on English poetry from the 17th century. All he wants is for this class to end as soon as possible. In order to find something more interesting to focus on, he turns around. When he sees a new student sitting at the end of the last row. He looks at her with a puzzled look, like "I've seen her before, but where?". She looks at him back, the Player/ chick magnet that he is, he very smoothly turns straight out of nervousness. Classic Jack. Few minutes later, he decides to turn around again. This time he stares at her like some kind of creeper. He does not want her to notice him again so he immediately regains his sanity and turns straight. For few days he does this without her noticing him.But one day arrives when she, for some reason decides to sit right next to him. He gets scared and happy at the same time. Scared cause he believes she saw him staring at her like a weirdo. And happy cause he thinks there is a possibility of her liking him.
She doesn't change her seat for the next week or 2. So he decides he's gotta do something. He thinks of a brilliant plan in order to make her talk to him. One day when she's sitting next to him, He decides to drop his pen "Accidentally" right next to her. Fortunately she was foolish enough to pick it up and give it back to him but unfortuantely she doesn't even look at him when she does that. Then, because He's so intelligent, out of frustration of wanting to talk to her so badly, he once again "accidentally" drops his notebook on the same day. She again, Picks it up and gives it to him. "Thanks! ", he says weirdly. She smiles back at him. That smile caused his heart to beat at the speed of light. He believes he has a chance of talking to this girl. Of telling her how he feels. Because he has never felt this way about any girl.
One day, he devices another brilliant and yet cunning plan in order to tell her how he feels.He asks his friend to somehow stall her in the corridor so he can come and talk to her. Brilliant, I know. During class his nervousness is taking over him. He can't help but feel nauseous and sick to his stomach. He feels like his heart is only moments away from popping out of his chest. "She's right there", he says to himself. "Alll I gotta do is tell her how I feel, at least then I'll know whether or not she feels the same way". One thing you should know about jack is, He has this weird fetish and liking towards a girls nails,hand and feet. In fact, he doesn't even care that much about her appearance. So when he looks at her face while in class, he gets this strange feeling that compels him towards her. This Un-measurable attraction. In order to prevent himself from doing anything Irrational, he tries to look at her hands. That although doesn't work. When he sees her hands he can't help but feel something. Her hands were the most beautiful hands he had ever laid eyes upon. They looked like Cotton candy. Yes, I am aware of my weak references. After the bell had run class was over. And he knew what to do. Problem was, he didn't know what to say exactly.He goes upto her with a pale face and shaking legs and he opens with a very brilliant yet smooth dialogue. "I'm sure you know why I'm here", he says. "No, I don't know why you're here", she replies with a confused look. He get nervous. "I've never actually said this before to any girl so its kind of hard", he says awkwardly. "Said what?". she replies. "I don't know if you can notice but my feet are shaking right now out of nervousness", he says with a laugh to hide his fear. She starts looking at him strangely and says, " And?". Somehow at this point Jack musters the strength and courage to say. " I like you, and was wondering if you could go out with me? Maybe? If you don't mind that is". Jack just keeps surprising us with his brilliance and elegance. She looks at him puzzled. Right now Jack is about ready to be rejected. As he's preparing himself for the worst, She says, Miraculously, " Sure, I will". She smiles at him hoping he'll smile back but he's in a state of shock.He cannot believe he pulled it off. He smiles back and then vey awkwardly says, " Thank you! ". She, surprisingly laughs and says," See you around" and then starts walking to class. Jack pats himself on the back for a job well done.At this point he feels like a playboy.He feel as if he can do anything. Now they do go out for sometimes then they break up. But fortunatley get back together the next day. They have fights every now and then but they still enjoy eachothers company and get the most out of their time together. No one ever know what the future holds, we just have to live in Today in order to ensure a good Tomorrow. Love is a strange part of life but no doubt a very interesting and intriguing one. There is always hope out there for every one.Bad times are not what defines us, in fact they make us stronger and better. If there is one lesson that I can give you out of all this, then that would be to never give up and never lose hope.
This is not my typical kind of stuff as you may already have noticed.But I thought I should share this and see what kind of feedback I get.
