In the Wilderness; Turtle Soup

by Lorenzo A. Fernandez Jr.
In the Wilderness

In the wilderness
I was following a path
full of footprints.
Suddenly there was a downpour
and it washed them away. . .
I had to follow my nose.

Turtle Soup

I saw a turtle crawling
along the shore.
What came to mind
was turtle soup.
But the idea of killing it
perished the thought.
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
