Lovers’ Flight

by Lorenzo A. Fernandez Jr.
Two birds glide in a cool, cloudy sky.
One is white; the other, black,
But never mind: They don’t fight.
They dream, sing, float together,
Both ready to love.

Soon they’ll pull out of their bond
Once on dreary land. They’ll quarrel
And tear each other’s wings,
Both knowing the flight is over.
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
