Diary (Day 62, 63, 64)

by Lorenzo A. Fernandez Jr.
Day 62

Tuesday, the last day before March 1. I have written a Filipino novel, my first. I have yet to type it and after that, only heaven knows where to find a publisher. I also have a collection of short stories and poems. When this diary is finished, I will have the same problem. I may be good at writing but not at publishing. It’s better not to think about publishing at all.

Day 63

This morning President GMA announced that she may lift her proclamation of a state of national emergency within 72 hours . As expected, her detractors who have no guidelines except banners, placards, black bands, and stage shows started to become noisy again in the streets. I don’t want to write about it anymore. My span of attention this time is only five lines.

Day 64

I may be dead drunk tonight but if you think I’m one of those bad guys, you are a moron. A man may not be drunk but he could still be rotten just the same. Take a look at those local politicians, religious leaders, stupid intellectuals, or better still, your hypocritical neighbors. More often than not , they are worse than what you think they are.
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
