What weren't Ye?

You were a beam of sunlight,during days,gloomy blue..

Ye were the rainbow after incessant rains ennui!

You envisaged a million dreams for me,

My petty wins,put on thy face alone,so much glee..

When everyone cheated, a thornless rose were you!

When in doubt,ye did serve as the omniscient moon,didn't you?

There can never be anyone in lieu of you!

                                                        My wounds got healed,the way your rays of love did intrude!

Ye served the canopy while the fiery Sun scorched rude!

To measure your altruism,I've got no enough gauges...

You were the pole star during the darkest of voyages...

You were my campfire during irksome colds!

It was ye,who directed my moves,while struggling with odds!

Thy arms thou lent for me to lay,
Ye kept all my doubts at bay...

For everything you've been,this is all I would say....
