(August 2015)
I’ve always been a believer of true love. That kind of love that lasts forever .That love which Romeo and Juliet have for each other . That kind of love Jack and Rose shared in Titanic. But am I a fool to believe when those stories end in tragedy and didn’t end happily?
Well maybe, just maybe, it is not about the ending it is about the story.
Krystel give a sigh as she paused for a moment from deep thinking. At a distance, she could already see Dale, sitting opposite to the chair in where she would be seated later.
Today is the time she sets for Dale to hear her answer. It’s been three weeks since the two of them shared a conversation. For the span of these days, no texts , no call, no connection at all. Three weeks of avoiding and neglecting him. She thought it would be difficult if Dale would approach her within these times but she realized that it was much harder with Dale not even glancing to her direction.
She tried her best not to give any indication that she is nervous, still not sure of what she’s going to say. She started walking towards Dale and give a short smile. Dale just stare at her whose eyes were fixed at her eyes. This is much harder than she thought.
Finally, when she arrived on the table , Dale stood up and offer the seat next to him.
”Thank You,” she said breaking the silence between them and Dale give her the sweetest possible smile as a response.
”Would you mind, if we take our orders firstz?” Dale asked as he sits back to his chair.
”No,” she muttered. She didn’t mind taking orders. She didn’t mind about anything at all because all she have in mind are the flashbacks they shared for years and the fact that maybe just maybe this would be the last time , she’ll have this chance again.
