Tender freedom

by purpletears
Another day was beginning, and Sandra couldn't feel happier. Nobody knew it, as she wanted to kept it as a secret. In the past, she shared what made her happy with mean people, that only worked to destroy her dreams. But this time, it was going to be different. This time, nobody was going to mess with her precious illusions So, she worked a little bit harder every day, being motivated by her own wishes.
And one god day, when the young lady, least expected it, her day of freedom came. All the fear went away; and for the first time, she felt the taste of freedom. There were no more chains that kept her bound to a life filled with nothing but pure emptiness. Wasn't that just amazing? She was still the same imperfect human being of yesterday, but for the first time in her life, she felt that everything was ok. There were no more truths to hide away from the sunlight. She was free to be herself, and , for the first time in a long time, Sandra was truly happy. Maybe she wasn't rich… so what? No amount of money could compete with that freedom her heart desired.
