Part 2: Crash In Hell

----- * -----
When the truck following them bursted its headlight through the mist, John Ryan knew something bad was going to happen. His car's taillight was broken. The truck driver possibly couldn't see that a car was moving in front of him, that when he drove his truck faster it would be the end of the lives inside the little helpless car.
John Ryan added some speed to his car. His fingers were chilled and shaking. His thought was on his girlfriend Sandra on the backseat. She didn't even know why he brought her with him, why he was so good to her lately, and why he kept the money instead of having the tail light fixed.
In the midst of the storm and dark highway, John Ryan saw a tiny dot of light two minutes ahead. He was sure it was the Phoenix Gasoline Station and he was sure that by the time his car arrived at the station, the truck driver would finally see them and would stop his big engine.
"This is your idea, John," Sandra said, hugging the laptop's bag. "You said we'll be eating in the most expensive restaurant. Oh, God, John now we're dead."
"Relax, there's a gas station over there," John Ryan pulled out something from his purse, but it fell somewhere around his feet. He used his left hand to drive and the other to find that something. He knew it was dangerous to look away from the road, so he just let his right hand find its way until it caught the fallen thing. The moment he looked down to see if it was what he was looking for, just for a second -
His back was knocked by an extraordinary amount of force like he was hit by a wrecking ball. He felt his internal organs touching the front part of his rib, flaming pain traveled through all his veins. His head hit the windshield, tiny pieces of broken glass punctured his scalp. The instant he knew the crash was over, he heard silence, and it was then when all the pain he had gone through came back all at once like he was drowning in lava and swallowing some fire. By the time he was losing his vision, a memory of his girlfriend smiling at him while riding the Ferris Wheel, entered in his mind. And then he lost his consciousness.
[IDK if part 3 is needed]
It breathed.
I didn't know where it came from, but it was colder than the night I was in and heavier than the backpack hanging on my back....
Mothers, of all creeping creatures of the earth, should know all about their territory.
My mother? No thanks....
One mistake can lead to more mistakes. Jake stole some of his father's money. And the chain of mishaps began.
A precious story of two brothers facing the greatest tradegy of their lives.
It is always easy to say
If someone’s pretending
If someone’s faking...
An unknown story in a place where every person needs to cross a deadly bridge everyday.
