Spring

by purpletears
Suddenly, a sweet explosion of life gave life to the snow-covered forest. It was that time again. The ice began slowly melting, exposing trees and fields that ached for a little bit of gentle sunlight. The life began moving again, dancing to the tune of a magnificent memory played by Mother Nature. Sooner than expected, little kids would be roaming around the streets of the little town, filling the air with their innocent voices. It was safe to laugh and play without being afraid of catchy a pesky cold or something worst.
The flowers pointed their little petals towards the sun, waiting to feel a gentle caress that reminded them of life.
Every single thing around the little town fell asleep for a few months, but now, it was time to wake up. There were a lot of things to be done, and dreams waiting to become realities.
There was no time to be hiding behind a veil made of fear. It was time to go outside and enjoy the simplest things in life, like smelling the roses or going for a walk. The winter could wait. Spring was here, giving new hope to those souls that feel the cold was never going to end.
