Remembering Them

by purpletears
Yes, he realized that the persons he loved were long gone, but for an strange reason, the young man wasn´t feeling totally sad.Like little butterflies, happy memories sorrounded him. Sadly, there was no way to turn back time, just to live those happy memories. but at least, on his mind, he was still in touch with his loved ones that were already gone. For a day, he forgot about his everyday worries, and decided to use a few minutes of his day to honor the legacy of his dead relatives.
Even when others couldn't totally understand it, He wanted to do it because he felt that´s what he needed to do. They being dead wasn't really a good excuse for him to forget them, because, in the end, they were still an important part of the family.
And of course, the best way of honoring somebody´s legacy is with a smile on your face, Life is already hard, so, there's no use in wasting time by crying for those who are long gone. After all, they are on a better place. So, no matter how hard it can be,
the best thing to do, is going ahead with a smile in your face.
