Pointed!

by Nightingale
Walking along the white plains, as White as snow.
I retrace my steps and go back to the spot, where I once stood before.
Here comes out my friend from his abode, for whom I have been waiting hitherto.

We greet and shake hands, but damn his hand is so long!
He says he wants to show me around,
I retort with excitement, ' Hey Dude, that's what I have been waiting all along!'

We come across many of his acquaintances , some elegant, some scratchy heads,
But most striked out with different fonts.

With curiousity I ask, What happened to them?!
He replied, 'Don't you know they were despised by your previous friend?!
A drunkard he was,
He would splutter, he would puke,
He would paint the place blue,
What a nuisance he was!

'Oh! The one in royal blue. You know I disliked him too.
Too much pricky, too much snob.
He drank from a unique pot!

Suddenly, I realised I had to go, I bid adieu.
'Okay, alphabet. The time for me to leave has come!
My friend quizzed, ' will you visit hither again soon?!

With a heavy heart I say, ' I dunno my friend, it all depends on the fate!'
Another day, another pen, I wonder when I'll see you again!

. Period, and that is the end! ;-)
