Pale Lie

by purpletears
It really hurts,
it does hurt like a knife,
and yet, some can´t live
without it on their lives.

Vicious knife thrown
by someone loved,
piercing a young heart
that once believed in love.

A pale kind of disguise
to try to hide the truth,
mercilessly fooling ourselves
when we think we are fooling others.

When did truth got lost?
is not so easy to point out
the right moment
when lies won the game.

Among all that darkness,
it´s really hard to find
a little ray of light
to recover a bit of the lost faith.

Only time is wise enough
to heal all of those wounds
caused by countless
and bitter lies.
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
