ONCE LOVED

by Manoj Barman

You're always there in my heart
This is why i lay here in the dark
I keep the pain all inside
I wish I had only to died
As the night slowly goes by
The only thing i can do is silently cry
You broke my innocent heart and left me dead
All I have now is a cold empty bed
I tried a million time to move on
And trust me I really do, but I just can't
Because I still love you
Love is a disease everyone says
Of course it's the one thing we think about everyday
When we start to pray that it will stay
Slowly it starts to fade away
One might not take it so well
Even though love feels like heaven
It can hurt like hell
