A little rainbow
To forget about her worries
For a little while.
Nobody understood
The greatness of the feeling
Living in her soul.
They tried to hurt her,
By calling her love wrong;
A dirty thing to be ashamed of.
But she only was fighting
For something she deserved;
The right to love freely.
Grey hearts couldn’t see
The beauty of a soul
That wanted to be colorful.
But… she wasn’t alone on her
A thousand hearts were with her,
Accompanying the young lady
On a long fight for equality.
