High and low tides of life.

A man named ramesh and his newlywed wife gayatri
came to leave in our neighborhood. Gayatri was a housewife and ramesh was
working in a nearby factory .he has taken responsibility of ramesh and household
work. They were happy couple. Gayatri was devoted wife . she was very talkative.
After 5 years of their marriage, gayatri was not able to conceive. They went to
gynecologist for medical checkup. Gayatri was broken to know the
report that she cannot be a mother. But after knowing these too, ramesh loves
for gayatri remains the same. They both decided to adopt a baby, after days of
formalities they adopted a baby boy whom they named as govind. There family was
completed. There world entwined with govind. Ramesh was very much dependent on
gayatri at home for small -small things, other than his job. When govind was 19
yrs old , ramesh was losing his memory , so he had taken leave his job .Govind joined his father’s job .Gayatri
started taking care of ramesh much more from now onwards whether its bathing, bedding,
eating everything she used to do all of it, by herself. She loves him a lot. Govind too
helped his mother if he gets time from job. Govind was a good son. He even knew
he was adopted when he was 18 years old but this doesnot affected their
bonding. Govind got married at the age of 26 years and at 28 yrs he was father
of two kids . one day gayatri she experienced extreme pain near her right neck
region ,govind immediately taken gayatri to nearby
hospital and doctors over there referred
her to big hospital as they found some abnormal growth in her neck. After
complete checkup and tests and biopsy, it was diagnosed as cancer that too in advanced
(late) stage. It was too late to cure her completely. But doctors said they
can try with chemotherapy and radiation therapy .But they were not sure that
she will survive and able to take these treatment because she was 68 years old and weak.
Govind did not say anything to gayatri. He just wanted to do anything to save
his mother. Gayatri was ready to undergo treatment. She had been admitted to
hospital for treatment. One after other she underwent many radiation therapy.
In due course, she understood she had some major health issue for which she has
been undergoing treatment. She said govind one day, son I want to live, want to
live for your father and you. Tears rolled down from their eyes .She was scared
what will happen to ramesh when she will be gone. She tried very hard to fight
cancer but day by day she was getting weak .After six months of treatment. She
asked govind she wants to take last breath at her home, want to see ramesh and grandchildren.
Doctors gave up too in gayatri case but prescribed few antibiotic injections and painkiller
injections which should be given by nurse at home for 10 days. And dispersible
medications too prescribed. Govind taken her back to home. Govind deep down
broken and depressed by seeing her mother condition. He hardly slept properly
in those six months. Gayatri lied down on bed all the time, she got bed sores,
she hardly could eat anything as her food pipe (esophagus) shrunken and dried
because of radiation. After 15 days coming home she passed away .Ramesh did not
knew gayatri was dead because of his own deteriorating mental health. When
ramesh was taken with govind for funeral rituals, ramesh understood gayatri was
no more; he burst with cry and grief. Suddenly he was stroked with every
memories of gayatri, after sometime he was silent, not speaking to anyone. Everyone
in family loved gayatri and so the gayatri loved them too. Her loud volume voice missed now.
Everlasting void created with her absence in their life. It’s a relationship guys, there comes a lot of
bad and good times but try to understand and live life with your partner in today with lots of good memories. Because
after their absence you will be left with memories, so enjoy every bit of your
relationship .Live before dying.
